This is what started me on making stationary bar necklaces with ALL sterling silver (SS) hardware. I bought the Navajo 3 pearl necklace on the small standard chain from a small business. LOVED it and got many compliments on the dainty thing BUT it gave me hives. I can tell the bar was plated in SS and the chain turned dark (the pic of the two next to eachother is after I cleaned them).
I remade the necklace using an older paperclip link chain & SS bar.
It is amazing how sensitive some can be and I do not want something I make to accidentally cause irritation to another.
