Today, we had the honor of recognizing someone very special in our ABATE family.

Brianna was presented with an award for her two years of service, and today she officially became a Junior Patriot. 🇺🇸🏍️

Sometimes people think that making a difference means you have to be older, have a title, or have decades of experience. Brianna proves that isn’t true. The future of organizations like ABATE depends on young people who are willing to step up, get involved, and care about the freedoms and communities we all cherish.

Thank you, Brianna, for your dedication, your positive attitude, and for showing all of us that no matter your age, you can make an impact. You are an inspiration to other young people, and we are proud to have you as part of the ABATE family.

Congratulations on becoming a Junior Patriot. The future is brighter because of young leaders like you. ❤️🤍💙

Summer Hummer – June 25-28
Advance Summer Hummer Tickets – All advance ticket sales end June 11, after that everyone pays normal price at the gate.
We have one complimentary ticket left to give to a member who has not been to the Summer Hummer. We have one advance ticket left $40 for a member $80 for non-member. We have Kooler Kart Raffle tickets available. Drawing will be at the Summer Hummer. They are 5 for $20 or $5 each. If you would like to sell or purchase some let us know.

Summer Hummer - June 25-28 Our choice for a theme this year is the 250 Year Anniversary. Wear your everything red, white and blue. Bring flags and patriotic decorations.

Every one of us has something we’re passionate about. Maybe it’s motorcycles. Maybe it’s hunting, fishing, camping, classic cars, snowmobiles, boats, or simply spending time with the people we care about.

When I’m riding my motorcycle, I think about just about everything except reality. For those few hours, it’s freedom. It’s peace. It’s therapy. It’s the feeling of being completely alive and present in the moment.

But as I ride, I sometimes wonder: what would it be like if that freedom was gone? What would it feel like if one day I couldn’t throw a leg over my motorcycle and take off down a Wisconsin back road? What if, little by little, the things we love were regulated, restricted, or simply taken away because nobody stood up to protect them?

The truth is, rights are rarely lost all at once. They disappear one small piece at a time. One regulation. One restriction. One decision made by people who may not understand the passion we have for what we do.

That’s why I believe every motorcycle owner should be a member of ABATE of Wisconsin.

For just $35 a year, you’re helping protect your freedom to ride. You’re supporting the people who spend countless hours watching legislation, meeting with lawmakers, promoting motorcycle safety, defending your right to repair your motorcycle, and fighting for the future of motorcycling in Wisconsin.

There’s just something special about a kid and a motorcycle.

Tonight, I put my sister’s little guy, Rider, on a motorcycle for the very first time. The second he sat on that bike, his face lit up with the biggest smile. No hesitation. No fear. Just pure happiness.

Maybe his mom knew exactly what they were doing when they named him Rider, because that little dude looked right at home.

Who knows what the future holds? Maybe one day he’ll be riding the back roads of Wisconsin, leading charity rides, protecting motorcycle rights, or inspiring the next generation of riders. But tonight, he was simply a little boy with a huge smile and a love for motorcycles that was impossible to miss.

Sometimes it’s the little moments that remind us why we love this lifestyle so much. It’s not just about the machines. It’s about the memories, the freedom, the family, and passing that passion on to the next generation.

Rider, if you’re anything like your family, you’re going to do amazing things. Until then, enjoy being a kid, keep that smile, and know you’ve got a whole motorcycle family behind you.

See you hopefully at the next ABATE of Wisconsin meeting, little dude. I’ve got your back forever. ❤️🏍️

Over the last couple of years, I’ve watched a man named Krock fight his way through some very difficult times.

He wanted to ride again.

Not just talk about it. Not just dream about it. Ride.

I watched him work on an older motorcycle. I watched him struggle. I watched him have good days and bad days. A few days ago, he finally did something that changed everything. He went down and bought a brand-new three-wheeled motorcycle.

Now here’s the part that really gets me.

Krock has no legs.

He had to modify the bike so he could ride it. I helped him a little with a shifter setup, and he got it figured out. Less than a week later, he’s already put over 500 miles on that motorcycle.

Today he rolled by my place with a brand-new exhaust system on it. I couldn’t get over to his house fast enough to hear it. The smile on his face said everything.

I’ve seen Krock at some of the lowest points in his life.

Today, I’m seeing him at some of his highest.

None of us are perfect. We’ve all made decisions we wish we could take back. We’ve all had times when life knocked us down. But watching Krock reminds me that your story isn’t over just because you’ve had some rough chapters.

Sometimes freedom comes on three wheels.

Sometimes healing sounds like a motorcycle exhaust.

Sometimes happiness is simply feeling the wind again.

For those of us who have two legs, two arms, and every opportunity in the world, it’s easy to find excuses. Krock reminds us that determination is stronger than excuses. He reminds us that freedom isn’t measured by what you’ve lost—it’s measured by what you’re willing to fight for.

To my friend Krock, thank you for reminding me what grit, perseverance, and heart look like. You are an inspiration to more people than you know.

No matter where you are in life, never give up. There is always another sunrise, another road, and another mile to ride.

And sometimes, the ride itself is what brings you back to life.

As Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month comes to an end, I want to ask everyone something…

What if the next motorcycle you pull out in front of belongs to someone your family loves?

What if it’s your friend?
Your coworker?
Your child’s teacher?
Your doctor?
Your pastor?
Your dad?
Your mom?

Because the truth is, motorcyclists are not some “different group” of people. They are everyday people. Hardworking people. Good people. People with families waiting for them to come home.

For those of us who ride, motorcycles are freedom, peace, and sometimes the only escape from the stress of life. But no matter why someone rides, every single rider has one thing in common… they want to make it home alive.

Every year in Wisconsin, around 100 motorcyclists lose their lives. Those are not just numbers. Those are empty seats at dinner tables. Families destroyed. Friends grieving. Lives changed forever.

And the scary part is many of these crashes could have been prevented with one simple thing… paying attention.

One more second.
One more look.
One less distraction.

You do not have to ride motorcycles to care about this.
You just have to care about people.

And let’s also be honest about something else… organizations like ABATE of Wisconsin do NOT support being stupid on motorcycles. We support freedom, rights, education, awareness, and responsibility. We want riders to be safe, smart, respectful, and to make it home to their families.

Motorcycle safety is a two-way street. Drivers need to watch for motorcycles, and riders need to ride responsibly.

So even though Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month is ending, our responsibility to look out for one another should never end. Put the phone down. Check your mirrors. Slow down at intersections. Look twice before pulling out or changing lanes.

Because that motorcycle beside you is not just “a biker.”
That is a human being.
That is somebody’s best friend.
Somebody’s spouse.
Somebody’s entire world.

Please watch for motorcycles.
Not just in May.
Every single day.
