Universal just announced a brand new theme park opening July 1, 2026 in Frisco, Texas.

It's called Universal Kids Resort, and it's built specifically for families with young kids. We're talking 7 themed lands, 11 restaurants, and a 300-room hotel sitting right at the park entrance.

Here's a breakdown of the hotel rooms so you know what you're walking into:

🛏️ Standard Queen: queen bed + twin-over-full bunk, sleeps 5
📐 Deluxe Queen: same setup, just more space
🌟 Signature Queen: the most room of the three, still sleeps 5
👑 Family Suite: private king bedroom, twin-twin bunks, queen pullout sofa, kitchen area, sleeps 6

Every room has that bold, colorful theming you'd expect. The kids are going to lose their minds.

One thing worth knowing right now: park tickets are only available through September 30, 2026. Hotel stays can be booked all the way through May 2027, so there's time to plan ahead, but if you want to go this summer you'll want to move on tickets sooner rather than later.
