The European Elections
The Associated Press is sadly reporting that "far right" political parties have made huge gains in the European Union elections, which ended Sunday.

The wire service lamenting that left-leaning governments in Germany and France are rapidly losing power. Smaller countries like The Netherlands are following the trend.

As usual, the AP is not reporting accurately. It isn't political ideology at issue; it's two vital situations: migration and taxation.

As in the USA, most European nations have been overrun by migrants. They primarily come from Africa and the Middle East and are competing for limited resources in these semi-socialist economies where government entitlements are now at the breaking point.

That, of course, leads to higher personal taxation. Add the enormous spending to combat climate change, and European workers are watching take-home pay dwindle.

Liberal governments never stop spending, but conservative representatives often do. That's what is happening in Europe.

There are some far-right loons on the continent just as there are here. But not nearly enough to bring down establishment liberal parties.

No, it's the regular folks who are fed up with insane immigration policies and out-of-control climate spending.

And I suspect we will see the same thing in America come next November.
