A little behind-the-scenes look at what being a travel advisor actually involves… 👩‍💻✈️

It’s a lot more than booking flights and hotels.

I’m constantly researching destinations, comparing resorts, watching for promotions, learning about new properties and cruise itineraries, and figuring out which experiences are actually worth recommending.

Because when a client says:

“We want somewhere beautiful, great food, upscale but not stuffy, and we mostly want to relax…”

…I want to know exactly where to start.

That’s the part of travel planning I love—taking a vague idea and turning it into a trip that feels like it was designed specifically for you.

💡 TRAVEL TIP: The cheapest room at a resort isn't always the best value.

This is one of the biggest things I look at when comparing options for my clients.

Sometimes spending a little more can mean:
✔️ A much better location within the resort
✔️ Oceanfront instead of “ocean view”
✔️ Club-level amenities
✔️ Included breakfast or resort credits
✔️ Better cancellation terms
✔️ An upgrade or other advisor-exclusive perks

A $200 difference on paper can sometimes completely change the experience.

Price matters—but value matters more.

That’s one of the benefits of working with a travel advisor: I’m not just looking for a room. I’m looking at the entire trip.
