Happy New Year everyone! While we were MIA on social media in 2025, we were very busy all year with lots of private events - from weddings to wine tours to Cuba Fest. We ended 2025 with the sale of the trolley.

We want to thank all of the amazing businesses and people who helped make the trolley a success, especially those who were main stops on the trolley loop and who collaborated with us for events! The city, chamber, and most of all the community gave us so much support throughout our trolleying years, and we will never forget it!

For those who will ask, the trolley was placed for sale due to wanting to spend more time with our kids, as well as health issues. The trolley has now made its way to its new home in Maryland. While the trolley is no longer in St. James, we will forever urge locals and tourists to continue to support all of the amazing local restaurants, shops, wineries/brewery, and other businesses and please drink responsibly!

BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY

As we go into our 4th year of showcasing all of what the St. James area has to offer, the trolley is looking for a new home.

We will continue to run our weekend route and events as normal until we pass the torch. We would love to keep the trolley in the St. James area to continue to showoff all of what the Maremac region has to offer.

This is certainly not an easy decision, but with some recent health issues and our young kids becoming more involved in school and other activities, it's time to look forward to a new chapter. Thank you to all who have been on this ride with us (literally and figuratively!) in making the trolley a success. Come join us for our last wine tour of 2024! 2 more days to purchase tickets!

We will start the tour with a trolley ride to Prairie Barn Winery and Christmas Tree Farm. Here, you experience a tour and wine tasting led by Prairie Barn’s winemaker! You will then enjoy a ticket to the St. James Wine and Wings Festival. Savor a glass of your choice of wine and delicious wings while casting your vote for the best chef! You will also get a discount on wine bottle purchases!

You will then get back on the trolley and head to Spencer Manor Winery. Here, you will get to enjoy family style small plates with complimentary wine tasting. You also get an exclusive 10% off retail wine purchases!

We will end the day at St. James Winery! More details to come about this stop.

Throw on your cute fall outfits, grab your friends, and come with us on Saturday, October 5th on The Getaway Trolley Wine Tour!!

We will start this beautiful fall day at St. James Winery (more details to come soon!)

Next, we will trolley over to Prairie Barn Winery for a cozy fall experience featuring fall sangria, flavors of fall small bites, and wine tasting. View the fall foliage on a hayride through the vineyard and Christmas tree farm. Plus, take home a Prairie Barn Winery logo glass! Discounts on wine bottle purchases including a free logo bag with more than 3 bottles purchased.

Your last stop will be Spencer Manor Winery for Oktoberfest! This will include live music, a choice of smash burger or brat and a choice of white wine, sangria, or German beer. You will then enjoy a vineyard and cave tour, followed by a local spirit tasting! You will also be able to have 20% off of retail wine.
