I became a Travel Agent specializing in Disney vacations because I am passionate about Disney, and because I believe everyone should visit Disney and experience it firsthand. No matter the age, Disney has something to offer everyone! It truly is magical. However, in saying that, since I first started going to Walt Disney World (in the 90's), the planning has become much more involved and much more necessary than it used to be, and I think that can be a deterrent for some people. I became an agent so that I could help relieve that stress for families that want to experience the magic, while I can also experience the excitement with them
thru planning. I am a self proclaimed Disney enthusiast and talk Disney every chance I get. You thought Star of the Seas was only about the kids… and then you found this. 👀🌊

Walk from the starboard side of The Hideaway, grab a Castaway Spritz from The Hideaway Bar and watch the adults-only infinity pool appear—with Perfect Day at CocoCay in the background.

This is exactly why the right ship matters: Star has huge family attractions, but adults can still find a space with ocean views, cocktails and beach-club energy.

My honest Icon of the Seas review: here’s what I loved—and what I’d want to know before sailing.

✨ What I loved:
• The crepes at AquaDome Market- so worth it, the quiet nooks nearby where I could relax throughout the ship were plentiful
• The Hideaway’s wake views at the back of the ship. I just wish there were more shady spots
• The Wizard of Oz in the Royal Theater
• The variety of things to do, especially the Category 6 waterpark
• Surfside’s bright, cheerful feel for kids—and the adorable mom-and-me mocktails
• The elevators. Ever since Utopia, they’ve only gotten better!

🤔 What I didn’t love as much:
• The main pools felt too small for the number of guests, and they often felt crowded.
• I’m not a fan of needing the app to plan so much of the cruise. Reserving must-see attractions ahead of time—and checking for cancellations once onboard—made the experience feel less spontaneous. It’s one reason I understand the appeal of smaller ships.

On the Disney Wish, even dessert has feelings 🍦💛

Inside Out: Joyful Sweets brings Riley’s emotions to life in the sweetest way and the gelato and freshly made waffle cones are hard to walk past! It’s a specialty shop, so treats are an extra cost, but it’s such a fun stop if you’re craving something sweet.
