Flatbed freight season is heating up. Whether you are a company driver or an Owner-Operator, be vigilant of the metrics that matter to your bottom line. Here are a few to be aware of and why they matter:

1. Number of on-time deliveries -> Establishing realistic timeline to both drivers and customers
2. Detention ->Every hour a flatbed sits is an hour that could have been used to cover another load
3. Deadhead Miles -> Fewer are better when paired w/ quicker and competitive backhauls
