$824 was just donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America! 🕺🏾Through Father’s Day Card sales we raised $412, & Josh and I were inspired by everyone’s tremendous support and able to match that donation to get to a total of $824.
THANK YOU so much for all the encouragement in the way of card purchases & words of affirmation- the success of this endeavor was truly contingent upon your buy-in 💓 Also, a huge thanks to who invited me to partner with them in their Father’s Day gift package!
Not everyone is fortunate enough to have an involved Dad or family role-model, but I’m so encouraged by BBBS- an organization that works to grow potential & fill the void. 👏🏾
I hope you & the dads in your life had a wonderful Father’s Day this past Sunday, & that the dads loved their cards. 💕 I know that the messages transcribed were what meant the most 😊

Today’s mantra: I have everything I need to create the life I want for myself & those around me 💗
Father’s Day cards are here! Thank you so much for the orders already placed- I’m so grateful and encouraged by the support! All orders received through Monday will be shipped out Tuesday morning. June 21st will be here before you know it (especially if you need to mail a few out of state).
For this occasion, 1/2 of card earnings will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters- an organization dedicated to pairing youth with compassionate adult mentors. Not everyone gets to have an involved dad, but organizations like BBBS do their best to fill the gap.
I’ll be accepting card orders until June 12th, or until supplies last. 🦈

Hey there! 👋🏽 I’m a new lino-cut enthusiast looking to contribute to meaningful causes by creating cards people love, for the people they love. 💓 Let me tell you how it all started!

Over 10 years ago, after landing my first job since moving in with my grandparents, I was excited to celebrate my Grandma (Mom) by getting her something for Mother’s Day with my first paycheck. I asked her, “Grams, what’s your favorite flower?” She replied quickly- “the hibiscus.” I frowned- we definitely lived in a retirement community in the middle of the valley in AZ, far from any tropical flower field. “What’s your 2nd favorite?” I asked. “Oh, so now I have to have multiple favorite flowers?”

She was a lady who knew what she liked 🤷🏼‍♀️ She received pink roses instead 😂👌🏼

In tribute to the woman who taught me to hold tightly to what I love & to let go of the rest, I carved some hibiscus out of lino & handmade Mother’s Day cards for the other women who have shown me love throughout my life. 💓 After finishing up my own cards & seeing the stamps sitting there, ready to be put to more use, I thought, “I’ll do just that.” And so it began- Cards for COVID-19!

If you know a special lady who deserves a handmade hibiscus card for Mother’s Day, I’m happy to make her one. I’m selling these for $5- $8 each & 1/2 of the earnings will go to COVID-19 research in hopes that this will be the first & last Mother’s Day mommas go without gathering with their families. 🌺
