F.A.Q. POST
I figured id make an FAQ post to handle some of the questions we get very often
What services do you offer?
-We are a junk removal and hauling company. 80% of our business is hauling junk to the landfill, but if you have a heavy item that you cannot move and need it delivered to another address, we can help. We also handle eviction/foreclosure cleanouts, property management cleanouts, estate sale cleanouts, and cleanouts for real estate agents selling/marketing homes.
Are you available today (right now)?
- Typically, no. With full time employment, a full college schedule, and 2-4 scheduled pickups per day, this results in scheduling from 2-7 days out from the time you call/text/message me
Where do you take all this stuff?
- This depends on the material. If the items in the load are donate-able, the items are taken to the local Goodwill. If the items are junk, the items go to the landfill. In the case of e-waste, the items are taken to special e-waste recycling facilities
What are your rates?
-This depends on the type and quantity of materials. Most of the time a quick photo of the items will generate a quote within minutes. If the items are construction related (tile, concrete, dirt, carpet, drywall, wood, fixtures, etc), an added surcharge is applied, as the landfill charges more than double the standard rate to dispose of construction related debris.
What cant you take?
-Chemicals, fluorescent light tubes, car tires, and other household hazardous waste (cleaners, paints, construction related liquids, automotive fluids, etc). If it is not designed to touch your skin, we do not take it.
Do you offer discounts?
-We can apply discounts at our discretion. Typically discounts are applied if you're able to get the items (or pile of items) to the street, curb, or alley prior to our arrival. Discounted rates are applied BEFORE we arrive
Getting rid of things feels awesome so I added a few things to my pile that I didnt send you pictures of, is that OK?
-Yes, but please understand that the space in our trailers is finite. If I take more items from your home, it means that I can take less items from the next customer's home. This often results in having to reschedule the next customer's pickup. Adding additional items is OK, but PLEASE notify us at least 24 hours before your pickup. This will allow us to adjust your price and notify other customers, if necessary.
How much can you take at once?
- We can handle whatever size load youve got. From single mattresses all the way to full scale hoarder situations, we can handle it all, with proper notice.
Can you remove vehicles?
-Yes. Please reach out and let us know what you've got.
Do you offer moving services?
-Yes and no. If you need an item or two moved from one place to another, we can certainly help out. We do not offer whole apartment/house moving services. We do not pack items.
Do you offer handyman services?
-We do not, however we do have alot of resources to point you in the right direction.
