Full Job Description:
Side Piece Logic, Inc is an experienced contracted service provider, contracted by FedEx Ground, Watsonville, CA.
We are looking for full-time dedicated drivers who are inspired, motivated, reliable, energetic and ready to get the job done. Successful drivers put safety first and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction.
Drivers are responsible for safe and timely handling and delivery of packages to businesses and residential areas on their route in Salinas, CA. Drivers enjoy being part of a team while being independent on the road and develop a rewarding and enjoyable career incorporating customer service, road safety and driving skills.
Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
Safe operation of a commercial vehicle in a wide variety of conditions.
Completion of all assigned delivery and pickup stops for the day.
Proper usage of the provided hand-held device to record all activity for the day.
Maintain security of all packages and equipment assigned for the day.
Ability to lift, bend, carry & load packages up to 150 lbs.
Ability to follow directions and turn by turn maps from GPS navigation app.
Ability to use a wide range of apps and devices.
Respectful to customers & team members.
Delivery Driver Benefits:
Bi-weekly competitive pay starting at $17.00 / hour
Training and certification is available (on a needed basis)
Seniority and performance based growth within the company
Delivery Driver Requirements:
Must be 21 years or older.
Preferred to have 12 months of commercial driving experience in the last 3 years. Professional experience is needed (food delivery, mail/parcel delivery, real estate, home healthcare, etc). Personal driving and commuting to and from work does not count as driving experience.
Preferred to have a DOT certification (CDL is not required).
Must be able to pass DOT physical, drug screen and criminal background check.
Must have a clean driving record.
Qualified individuals without experience will be considered for training programs.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
