Francis (aka Frankie), our Havanese friend, is hanging out with us this weekend, so we’ve been showing him around. Friday, we went to Calusa Brewery for a cold one and met a couple of dog buddies. Today we did yoga at the bayfront and met a few more 4-legged friends. Then we stopped by the local theatre warehouse, where they were having a costume clearance sale. We tried out a few attire options, but nothing really clicked, so we’re still looking. Going to the Oktoberfest later today to watch the Wiener Dog races and show off my new bandana.

(Just an FYI disclaimer: I don't let any of our critter friends drink alcohol or eat any foods they are not supposed to... It's fun to occasionally put them in adventurous and sometimes silly poses... and I think they like it!)

Isabella, my new Weimaraner pal, visited us today for her first yoga session at the Bayfront. She did well during class, enjoyed all the wonderful smells and excitement, and was very hospitable to all the doggie friends and people she encountered. We will see her again in early November.

I’ve had these workers over at the house this past week, and today they brought along their ‘boss,’ Chooie, a well-spoiled English Bulldog. They set her up in the driveway on her bed, in front of a small window A/C unit powered by 2, 3-volt batteries, plus treats and drinks, as she diligently sits and supervises the workers. Some dogs have it made!

Enzo paid us another visit this week. We visited the Dog Bar in Sarasota, did a little sniffing, checked out the obstacle course for a while, and met a few friends. Today he joined us again for yoga at the bayfront. Another big day for Minnie; first stop at Pet Supermarket to check out the toys and all kinds of chewy crap and bones. Sensory - smell overload! Gotta love those pig ears! Minnie and Mouse are back in town for a visit and hanging out with us for a while. Minnie enjoyed her yoga session at Island Park, and they both like spending time in the kitchen and checking out all the smells.
