McVay Marine Will McVay is a Yacht and Small Craft Surveyor and Consultant.

Upon retiring from the United States Army, Will, Tracy Anna and George cruised the east coasts of the United States and Canada as well as the Bahamas before settling back down in Savannah. Will is an American Boat and Yacht Council Certified Standards advisor and he attended Chapman School of Seamanship where he took their Professional Mariner’s Training, Yacht and Small Craft Survey Course and th

e Damage and Claims Course. Will and Tracy love helping others realize their cruising dreams and will be right back out there when the kids head out to college.

Tickets will be available at the Gate on May 7, 2022 at Bethesda Academy 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 for the Savannah Scottish Games! Online Tickets will end Friday night only to allow the gate to function correctly but there is no shortage of tickets!

Ticket information:
Adults (18 and over): $15
Active Duty Military & First Responders (with ID): $10
Student (ages 11 to 17): $5
Children (10 and under): FREE!

So, 8 months after applying, I received my acceptance into the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors. I can stop turning down all of the jobs where a bank or insurance company prefer SAMS surveys. I guess I'm "in the club" now!
