Thinking about automation?

Start where it makes sense.

Not every manufacturer needs a fully automated production line on day one. For many shops, cobot welding is a practical first step toward improving consistency, throughput, and workflow without completely changing the operation overnight.

The best automation strategy is the one that fits your process, your workforce, and your goals.

That’s why we approach automation from a welder’s perspective first.

Today we remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice made possible the opportunity to build, work, create, and contribute freely every day.

The freedom to build is worth protecting.

From all of us at CLOOS North America, we remember and honor those who gave everything.

Everybody wants production to move faster.

Then somebody tries to save a few minutes at the start of the shift.

A part gets rushed through prep. Something gets forced into place instead of being fixed correctly. Everybody tells themselves it will be “good enough.”

By lunchtime, operators are fighting the same issue on every part coming through the line.

Now, production is slower than it was when the shift started.

The shortcuts usually show up later.

If rework, downtime, or consistency issues are slowing production down, let’s talk shop.

In agriculture, the work does not slow down because conditions get tough.

Equipment is expected to perform through long hours, rough environments, and tight production windows. That kind of reliability starts long before the machine reaches the field.

It starts with weld quality. Process consistency. And systems built to hold up season after season.

The work is demanding. The equipment should be too.

Anybody can install a system.

What matters is what happens after production starts.

New parts come in. Programs get adjusted. Operators run into issues nobody saw during setup. And when production stops, nobody wants excuses. They want the line running again.

That’s why support matters.

Our service team spends a lot of time helping customers keep production moving long after startup. Troubleshooting issues. Answering questions. Helping teams solve problems before they turn into downtime.

That’s what CLOOS Cares means to us.

Not every welding application is the right fit for automation.

The shops that get the best results usually start with the work that gets repeated over and over again. The parts that slow production down, create fatigue, or become difficult to keep consistent manually.

That’s usually where automation starts making an impact first.

We broke down six of the most common parts manufacturers automate first and why they’re often the right place to start.

Finding skilled welders isn’t getting easier.

That’s why more shops are looking at automation for the repetitive work that slows production down and pulls experienced welders away from higher-value jobs.

The goal isn’t replacing good people.

It’s keeping production moving while letting skilled welders focus where they’re needed most.

That’s where systems like Expert Arc fit.

A lot of shops think capacity comes from moving faster.

Usually, it comes from doing the same thing the same way every time.

Consistent parts.
Consistent welds.
Consistent cycle times.

That’s what keeps production moving.

Not rushing. Not chasing problems.

Just a process people can count on.

Built with strength, patience, and care.

Behind every early morning, late shift, and long production run, there’s often someone who taught us the value of hard work and showing up for others.

Today we recognize the moms, grandmothers, wives, daughters, and women across manufacturing and beyond who keep families, teams, and communities moving forward every day.

Happy Mother’s Day from CLOOS North America.

Not every welding robot gets used.

Some end up sitting idle.

Not because automation doesn’t work.
Because it wasn’t set up to succeed.

We’ve seen it happen more than once.

The wrong parts.
The wrong expectations.
A process that wasn’t ready for automation in the first place.

If you’re thinking about investing in welding automation, it’s worth understanding where things go wrong before you get there.

When production issues start showing up, it’s usually not just one thing.

It’s missed welds. Inconsistency. Rework that keeps stacking up.

That’s where PTTG found themselves.

They needed more than a system. They needed a way to bring consistency back into the process.

With CLOOS, they implemented robotic welding solutions that delivered repeatable quality and reduced the issues that were slowing them down.

No guesswork. No chasing problems.

Just a process that works the way it’s supposed to.
