✨ A very belated Fresh Stack Friday! ✨

I missed my usual Friday post this week, but for the very best reason… I was getting ready for what turned out to be my BEST MARKET YET! 🥹❤️

Bothell, you showed up in such an incredible way, and I am so grateful for every single person who stopped by, shopped small, said hello, and supported my little business. I sold 33 pieces of handmade clothing yesterday, and I’m still feeling a little blown away by it all!

From cozy two-piece pajamas and boxy sweaters to jogger sets, rompers, dresses, and more, every piece represents hours of sewing, lots of love, and a little bit of my heart.

I was so busy enjoying the day and chatting with all of you that I completely forgot to take photos at the market 😂 So we’re using this week’s Fresh Stack Friday photo instead!

Thank you, Bothell, for reminding me why I love doing this. Your support means more than you know, and I’m so excited to keep creating comfy, thoughtfully made clothes for your little adventurers. ❤️

It’s Fresh stack Friday….

After a couple of crazy weeks (who knew getting a boot and a cast was on my bigger kiddo’s bucket list) I finally got a few peaceful mornings to sew this week. There were a lot of pieces that were 90% done so it felt good to move them to the finished pile.

All these pieces will be for sale next week in my booth at Crow Fest in downtown Bothell. Oct 17th 12-5pm

It’s Fresh stack Friday….

After a couple of crazy weeks (who knew getting a boot and a cast was on my bigger kiddo’s bucket list) I finally got a few peaceful mornings to sew this week. There were a lot of pieces that were 90% done so it felt good to move them to the finished pile.

I finished 5 jogger sets, 5 bird print boxy sweaters, 5 bodysuits, and 2 sweater rompers.

I just managed to score two yards of my FAVORITE PRINT OF ALL TIME!
It's called Ornithology, and it's perfect timing since I'll be vending at Making Local's CrowFest next month in downtown Bothell.

Here at A Common Thread sustainability is very important, and that means I always look for ways to be creative with the smaller pieces of fabric I have leftover. This week my scrap bin was bursting at the seams so I took it as a sign to make more leg warmers. These and many more things will be for sale Saturday at the Christmas in July market in downtown Woodinville.
