🚨 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟯 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲.

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴.

Spirit confirmed most card-paying customers have been refunded. Southwest rescue fares run through Wednesday May 6. Frontier SAVENOW through May 10.

The bigger story: Spirit's absence will push fares up 23% on average across its routes. Anyone flying Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Las Vegas, Detroit, or Newark this summer will feel this — on any airline.

Two people can plan the same Portugal trip. One has a travel advisor. One has a search algorithm.

Your best trip won't be found on a booking site. I build the version of your experience that only you could have. Because no two people travel the same way.

The difference between those two trips isn't the destination. It's everything that happens around it.

Here's what that looks like in practice this week.

The traveler with an advisor knew which optional experience on which island was worth the investment before they ever left home, and which ones were there to fill an afternoon. They knew that for one specific experience on this itinerary, the best timing sells out weeks before departure and isn't available the morning of. They knew which nights to budget for a finer restaurant in Funchal versus which evenings were better spent at a local place nobody puts in a guidebook.

The traveler with a search algorithm knew what was available to everyone. A list. A price. A checkout button.

The trip they technically booked was the same country. The trip they actually had was not.

This isn't about price. Good travel advisory relationships frequently find value that offsets the cost entirely. This is about what happens when someone who does this full time applies specific knowledge to your specific trip.

A booking site is built for the average traveler. You are not average. Your trip shouldn't be either.
