It wasn’t a dream! We won at Jackson Motorplex last night! Started 3rd in the feature and passed one of the fastest guys around right now for the lead on lap 6, and lead the whole way after that! This is one of sweetest wins I’ve had for many reasons; putting the throwback in victory lane, redeeming myself from last year at Jackson, and all the hard work of trying to figure the car out finally paying off. Hours and hours spent in the garage the last few weeks trying to find something wrong and changing a few things at a time. Last night was the reward for all that time spent.

After countless hours under the hood, learning to trust their instruments and stay precise in every phase of flight, today it all paid off. CFII Tyler Kingery sent them off this morning to earn their instrument ratings, and they are now ready for the next challenge. Congratulations, Danielle and Alivia—we are so proud!

ATTENTION CFIs AND APPLICANTS:

On application form 8710, Box B, SSN⬇️⬇️⬇️
Just put “Do Not Use” in that box.

The instructions for the form say you can do that. I talked to Ok City airmen records last week and they recommend doing that. It is the cause of quite a few returned applications when that SSN doesn’t match a previous application. The examiner has no way to check it because it’s not a required document at the exam .
