Deck to Landing had the pleasure of traveling to restore this entire front windshield on a 31” Bertram. Below is photos of the finished job and of the restoration process.

Process Included removing the windows, separating the frame from the boat, stripping the frame back to bare aluminum, priming and painting the frame and windows with AWLgrip, and re-installing the windows.

Big thanks again to Capt Dan McClarren and Lin Ezell for another awesome project!

Good morning everyone! We would just like to thank everyone who has had us winterize their boats and who has scheduled with us! Just want to remind you all who have not winterized, it is only getting colder (Sadly!) and there is still time to schedule those boat and RV winterizations! We hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I had the pleasure of doing a total refit on a Sea Ox. This project included fiberglass repairs, hardware removal, renewal, and re-bedding, and new rub rail installation. The paint job was completed using AWLCRAFT 2000. (Non-skid was achieved using AWLGRIP medium grit). Included are the before, during, and final result photos!

I have decided to take my knowledge, skill set, and passion for boats and the water to deliver repairs and maintenance to boat owners and marinas in Southern Maryland and Washington D.C. through my new business, Deck to Landing. We offer a wide range of unique skills that traditional boat yards currently maynot. We specialize in fiberglass and gel coat repair, bow thrusters, paint, non-skid, Seadek, hardware upgrades, electronic installation, and engine maintenance. With over 15 years experience working in the marine and marina industry, I’ve been an assistant boat surveyor, managed a high-volume marine service department and shipyard at Spring Cove Marina, and was the general manager at Goosebay Marina and Campground. Most importantly, I've spent 3 decades on the Potomac and Patuxent River, and Chesepeake Bay making memories with my family. I look forward to working with you to ensure you continue making memories with your family on the same waterways.
