Day 3 Essence of Portugal tour. Today, we enjoyed a full day cruise on the Douro Valley taking in the gorgeous landscapes, little villages, and terraced vineyards that make this part of Portugal so famous. We finished with a private tour and tasting of an amazing family run winery. What a day!

Day 2 Essence of Portugal Tour. The group enjoyed a full day with a guided tour of historic Porto, a visit to the ancient Cathedral, cable car ride down to Gaia on the other side of the river, a tour and port wine tasting at the famous Sandeman winery, and capped with a tasty dinner at a local restaurant.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 There’s Scotland… and then there’s the Scotland you find when you venture a little farther.

Next June, we’re taking a small group beyond the usual tourist trail and into the Highlands and islands on our Scotland: Highlands & Islands Tour.

We’ll explore the dramatic landscapes of the Isle of Skye, cross to the Isle of Mull, journey to the historic Isle of Iona, and cruise out to the remote Treshnish Isles.

One of the experiences I’m most excited about is landing on the tiny island of Lunga, where thousands of puffins return each year to nest. 🐧

And that’s just part of the adventure.

We’ll cruise Loch Ness, explore ancient castles, visit a Highland whisky distillery, walk through centuries of Scottish history, and stay in some incredible hotels and country estates along the way.

I’m excited to officially announce our new Scotland: Highlands & Islands Tour - June 10–20, 2027

I’ve spent a lot of time exploring Scotland over the years, and I designed this trip to showcase the Scotland I love most: ancient castles, rugged Highland scenery, historic villages, remote islands, and those unforgettable places that take a little more effort to reach.

Over 11 days, we’ll journey from Edinburgh into the Highlands and out to the islands, with experiences like:
