One group photo just wasn’t enough at Pena Palace! ❤️🏰

Today we gathered together for a few group pictures at the incredible Pena Palace in Sintra, Portugal. With its bright colors, dramatic architecture, and beautiful setting high above the surrounding landscape, it truly looks like something out of a fairy tale.

And honestly… how could we choose just one spot? 😂 We ended up taking THREE different group photos because every angle was just too pretty!

What a fun group, an unforgettable place, and memories we’ll be talking about for years to come.

🇵🇹 Portugal is AMAZING! 🇵🇹
I couldn’t ask for a better group to share this adventure with! Here’s our group picture from today as we explored Belém Tower, one of Portugal’s most iconic landmarks and a beautiful reminder of the country’s incredible Age of Discoveries.

We’ve been filling our days with history, culture, delicious food, beautiful places, laughter, and LOTS of memories! But honestly, one of the best parts of traveling together is the people—and this group is making every day extra special. ❤️

We’re having an incredible time, and there’s still so much more to see and experience!

There’s something special about the moment a journey begins… when the bags are packed, the excitement is building, and you know you’re about to experience something new together.

Tomorrow, we’re off to Portugal with an incredible group of travelers, and I couldn’t be more excited to share this adventure with them and you!

We’ll begin in Lisbon, but this trip is about so much more than checking places off a map. We’re going to take a deep dive into the culture, history, beauty, traditions, flavors, cuisine, and everyday life of Portugal — experiencing what makes this country so special.

And even if you’re not traveling with us, you’re invited to come along virtually! I’ll be sharing pieces of our journey here, but the heart of the adventure will be on my public group page, Journey with Jennifer – Traveling Together.

❤️ A Keepsake That Still Brings Me Joy ❤️
Back in 2019 aboard Celebrity Equinox, I had the incredible opportunity to take a hot glass-blowing class with the wonderful instructor, Jill. I was SO excited to try it, and with her guidance, I created this beautiful glass flower.

When the glass was hot, most of the flower looked purple, but as it cooled, the most beautiful shades of blue and green appeared.

This has become one of my most prized trip possessions. Every time I see it, it brings me so much joy and takes me right back to that special cruise and the excitement of creating something with my own hands.

Some of the best souvenirs aren’t things you buy—they’re the ones that hold a memory and a story.

And I love knowing that Celebrity still offers this experience today. How special that they continue giving travelers the opportunity to create something beautiful they can treasure for years.

Nearly seven years later, this glass flower still makes me smile.

Some keepsakes hold a memory. Others bring the memory back to life.

Right now, Monarch butterflies are making their incredible journey south to Mexico. They are traveling thousands of miles toward the mountains of central Mexico — and these are the very Monarchs we’ll be visiting in their beautiful winter homes this February.

Just imagine…
• Walking through the mountain forests surrounded by Monarchs
• Watching the trees shimmer with thousands of orange-and-black wings
• Experiencing El Rosario, Sierra Chincua and Piedra Herrada — three remarkable Monarch sanctuaries
• We'll also explore the history, culture and beauty of Mexico City, Valle de Bravo and Michoacán

For me, this journey is especially meaningful. I’ve been raising Monarchs for six years, and in my very first year, one of my tagged butterflies was discovered at El Rosario Sanctuary in Mexico. That discovery sparked a dream that eventually took me to Mexico.
I’ve experienced this trip in 2025 & 2026. Now, I want you to experience it with me. I can tell you that standing in those mountains, surrounded by Monarchs, is almost impossible to put into words.

To see thousands upon thousands of butterflies filling the trees, floating through the air and covering the forest floor is breathtaking. But what stays with you is knowing that these tiny, delicate creatures have traveled thousands of miles to be right there.

It’s humbling. It’s beautiful. And it’s something you feel deep in your heart. This isn’t just another trip or another place to check off your list. It’s one of those rare travel experiences that changes you a little — and creates a memory you will carry with you long after you’ve returned home.

A Little Rock Puzzle Fun

Thanks to everyone who took a guess!

I posted the rocks just for fun, but there’s a little story behind them. I found these rocks on our family farm and thought it would be a clever—and meaningful—idea to create a rock puzzle in the shape of a doe, a female deer, for my sister Diana. Our father loved deer hunting, and my sister has several deer related items from him.

Once I saw how it turned out, I started thinking… wouldn’t this make a fun and heartfelt Christmas gift for someone special?

I even created a little label for the box where I’ll place the puzzle pieces. It’s a simple gift, but I love the idea behind it.

No matter how you look at it, it’s just fun, personal, and made with love.

And sometimes, those are the best gifts of all!

A Journey of the Heart ❤️
Some journeys take you places you’ve never been, and others take you back to the places that made you who you are.

Today, my journey wasn’t to a faraway destination. It was back home, walking the creek on our family farm with my sister—one more time before the farm is sold at the end of this month.

We walked along the stream near the place where our father’s ashes were scattered, listening to one of his favorite songs and remembering him, our family, and all the memories woven into this land.

And then I found it.

A perfect heart-shaped rock, lying right in front of me, facing me so perfectly that I couldn’t possibly have missed it. ❤️

I truly believe my dad left that heart for me to find.

Just moments before, my sister had found a heart of her own. Finding them there together, in this place that holds so much of our family’s history, was incredibly emotional and meaningful to both of us.

As someone who spends so much of my life traveling and discovering beautiful places around the world, today reminded me that sometimes the most profound journeys aren’t measured in miles. Sometimes they lead us back home—to the people we love, the places that shaped us, and the little signs that make us believe our loved ones are still with us.

This was one more walk down the creek.

One more memory.

One more moment on the family farm.

And a little heart from Dad that I will treasure forever.
