🦆 Hey gullfriend. Ready for the big weekend? I sure am!

☀️ It really is the unofficial kick off to summer and I am stoked for it. Both our Fishtown shop and Suttons Bay will be open all weekend for all the outdoorsy, colorful goods you have come to know and love from us. 🌈🎨

And yes, we are STOCKED up on the new Fly Around collection which has (pun intended) been flying off the shelves. 🦅

I didn’t have a lot of extra time on my hands with getting Fishtown ready for the season but I was able to sneak away for some walks. I live just a couple miles away from public access to South Lake Leelanau so I love getting a few “boat ramp” walks in - they always help me clear my head during wild weeks.

Sleeping Bear feels like home. Probably because I was lucky enough to grow up minutes away from the lakeshore. I didn’t realize until I left Leelanau for college how special it was to be so close to public lands and definitely started me down the path of having a great appreciation for the outdoors.

I am really proud of this illustration I did for our national parks collection and I cannot wait to add more gems to our line. A lot of which I’ve had the privilege to visit and many still on my very long list of places to experience.

The fact that next Friday we kick off our SEVENTH season in Fishtown = 🤯

This place is so magical to me. My favorite place to spend an early morning or hang out at golden hour. I am steadily working on filing the space this week. And obviously our sticker wall was the first thing put together. Duh. Can’t wait to open our double doors on Friday, May 15th.

Me: 54 new sticker designs isn’t too wild, right??
Meghan: No way!

But for real… When all is said and done, and all the new things launched for the year we will have 54 new stickers to add to our already very large collection. And that doesn’t count the addition national parks stickers 🫠

Can’t wait to show ya! Until then, we have a ton of customer favorites and the sticker wall at our shanty in Fishtown is gunna be STACKED when we open on the 15th. ✌️

Introducing: The Wild Lettie National Park Collection 🌲💛 (my biggest, wildest idea yet)

I’ve been dreaming about creating an original illustration for every single U.S. national park since I started this business… and I finally just went for it.
And of course, I had to start at home ✨

The Midwest Collection is LIVE—featuring all 9 parks in the region + a couple honorary faves: → Sleeping Bear Dunes → Pictured Rocks
Technically national parks? Nope. Wild right? While maintained and protected by the park service they are designated as “Lakeshores” instead of “Parks.”
 Do they still deserve the spotlight? Absolutely. 😂

This is just the beginning… I’ll be rolling out all 63 parks over the next 18 months (!!!), so if your soul-park isn’t here yet—don’t worry, it’s coming 👀

The countdown is on… 24 DAYS UNTIL THE WILD LETTIE SHANTY OPENS IN FISHTOWN. As Samuel Jackson once said, hold onto your butts. 🍑

Meanwhile, I cannot hold onto mine because they are too busy packaging products and running around trying to find my head. It’s all gunna come together - it somehow does every year which feels truly miraculous. But if you run into me between now and May 15, I might be experiencing what I so lovingly call my crazy eyes - they can’t focus on any one thing because my brain is firing on all cylinders. 👀  Anywho, see you on May 15th?? Okloveyoubyeeeeeeee ✌️💙🐟☀️
