The US fish and wildlife department needs to be completely overhauled, anyone who is on board with this should be put in the woods without weapons and hunted by the wolves so they can see what it feels like to be an object to be hunted down and destroyed just for existing.

Same thing for the waste of a person human beings who want to be involved in the hunt of these beautiful animals

We were so excited for our first cruise.

Booked the cabin, packed our bags, showed up on embarkation day ready to go.

What we didn’t do?

Pack a carry-on bag with our essentials.

Our checked luggage didn’t arrive at our cabin until 6pm

That meant no swimsuit, no sunscreen, no medications for the entire first afternoon of our cruise.

We spent the first hours of our dream vacation scrambling instead of enjoying the pool deck. 😩

Most people book a cruise and think the hard part is over.

It’s Not.

Here’s what experienced cruisers know that first-timers usually find out the hard way:

1️⃣ Your cabin location matters more than you think — midship is most stable, avoid being above the pool deck or near elevators

2️⃣ Specialty restaurants fill up fast — reserve them the moment you board or you’ll be eating on someone else’s schedule

3️⃣ The cruise fare doesn’t cover everything — gratuities, WiFi, drink packages, and excursions add up fast

4️⃣ Fly in the day before — ships don’t wait for delayed flights. Ever.

5️⃣ Your luggage won’t be in your cabin when you board — pack a carry-on with your swimsuit, sunscreen, and medications

6️⃣ Book popular shore excursions early — the best ones sell out weeks before sailing

7️⃣ Always be back at the ship at least one hour before all-aboard time — the ship WILL leave without you 😬

This shelter is a death camp for dogs. The people that work here appear to be the lowest form on this planet.

how do you just decide to kill a mother dog and her unborn pups?.

And putting clarification there is a statue or law against killing healthy dogs unfortunately nobody in California enforces it.

Welcome to the Caribbean! ✨
The views are breathtaking, the water is crystal clear, and if you’re craving adventure, Jamaica should be at the top of your cruise itinerary. 🌊🇯🇲

One excursion I highly recommend? Climbing Dunn’s River Falls. This isn’t for the faint of heart—it’s slippery, rocky, and definitely not for someone with shaky balance. But if you’re up for the challenge, the reward is incredible. 🌴💦

With a guide leading the way, you’ll know exactly where to step as you climb to the top of the falls. At certain points, the guides even invite you to plunge into the rushing water (spoiler: I skipped that part—I can’t swim 😅). Instead, I took the scenic climb over the rocks and the view was more than worth it.

👉 Don’t miss this adventure if you ever find yourself in Jamaica. It’s one of those experiences you’ll never forget.

I haven’t been (yet), but something about this place keeps calling me—
📍 Hidden on the coast of the Dominican Republic
🌊 Surrounded by clear blue waters and untouched beaches
🌴 With palm trees swaying like they know a secret I haven’t discovered

I picture slow mornings with ocean views…
Afternoons exploring waterfalls and colorful markets…
Evenings sipping something tropical, feeling like time doesn’t exist.

It’s not just a destination.
It’s a pause button for the soul.

Does anyone else struggle with booking travel clients, or is it just me? 🤔✈️

Let me break it down…

I’ve had several prospective clients—some repeat offenders—who inquire about cruising on one of the biggest ships, Wonder of the Seas. They want a balcony seaside view for a 7-day sailing out of Port Canaveral or a shorter trip out of Miami… but it HAS to be Wonder of the Seas.

🚨 Here’s the problem:
Finding the cruise? Easy.
But why does it seem like everyone who wants to sail a mega-ship has champagne & Louis XIII expectations… on a Michelob Light budget? 🤦‍♂️

As a travel professional, how do you deal with this? Especially when you KNOW they’re just wasting your time.

It feels like ever since the pandemic, fewer people truly want to travel, and those who do want luxury on a budget that doesn’t match their wish list.

🛳️💰 Is this just me, or is this a real struggle in the travel industry today?
