With more than 25 years of experience in transportation, Martin Connolly brings a wealth of industry knowledge to his role as Sr. Planner - Intermodal with QC Intermodal® in Tampa, FL. We are proud to spotlight Martin and the experience he brings to the team.

Martin has spent most of his career managing transloading terminals before joining QC Intermodal in June 2021. Today, he works as a planner with a focus on the multimodal business, where he helps coordinate operations and supports QC Intermodal’s continued growth.

One of the things Martin enjoys most about working with the Intermodal planning team is their focus on continuous improvement. He appreciates being part of a team that is always looking for ways to improve processes and provide better service to customers. He is especially proud of the work the team did to launch and grow its 20 foot container service.

The Quest for Quality awards were selected by over 2,867 logistics and supply chain decision makers, who voted on their preferred partners across the logistics industry. Quality Carriers scored at the top of the bulk motor carriers category for on-time performance and value, and received exceptional scores for the information technology, customer service, and equipment and operations categories.

We are proud to spotlight Aylin Sandoval, Coordinator - Human Resources based out of our Quality Carriers, Inc. (QC®) corporate office in Tampa, FL.

Aylin began her HR career in the consumer packaged goods industry, where she contributed to a growing HR team and developed a strong foundation in recruiting. Since joining QC, she has been able to expand her HR knowledge by taking on new opportunities to grow professionally. She says joining QC has been an incredible step in her career, and has given her countless opportunities to learn and develop her skills.

Aylin credits her team for making her experience at QC so rewarding. She describes them as amazing and supportive, noting that their encouragement has driven her professional growth and makes coming to work enjoyable every day.

Quality Carriers® is pleased to spotlight Jennifer McCullough, Specialist II - Driver Operations based out of Bossier City, Louisiana. Growing up in a trucking family, Jennifer has always had a deep appreciation for the industry. She makes sure every driver receives the same respect, kindness, and support she would have wanted for her own dad while he was on the road.

Since joining Terminal 192, Jennifer has also found a team that has helped her grow, build confidence, and continue learning. Jennifer shared, “One of the things I appreciate most about Quality Carriers is its commitment to supporting women in trucking and fostering a culture where people truly invest in one another’s success.”

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and kids, cooking, and getting outdoors. And, of course, she has one important message for everyone: Geaux Tigers!

QC Dry Bulk® is proud to spotlight Clifford Winders, an Independent Contractor with Terminal 117 in Stockertown, PA.

After a successful career in real estate and construction, Clifford earned his CDL and joined QC Dry Bulk through the Lease Purchase program and quickly recognized the potential to build something of his own. Over six years, Clifford expanded his business and became a successful fleet owner. He continues to bring new trucks and drivers to the terminal while taking a hands-on approach to his operations.

Adam Carper, Director - Operations for QC Dry Bulk in Nazareth, PA, shared, "Cliff truly embodies QC Dry Bulk’s core values through his relentless commitment to safe, timely, and exceptional customer service. He is always ready to step up when last-minute challenges arise, and he manages his fleet with that same hands-on dedication. A journey that began behind the wheel has led Michael Makowski to a career focused on making the road safer for others. We are proud to spotlight Michael, Manager - Safety Technology at our corporate office in Tampa, FL.

Originally from Poland, Michael came to the United States with a dream of building a better future. After spending 12 years as a professional truck driver, Michael wanted to turn his passion for safety into a career. He joined the Quality Carriers, Inc. (QC®) safety team to help protect drivers while on the road.

Michael says one of the things he appreciates most about QC is the people he works with, and the leadership team which helps employees learn, grow, and succeed. Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, staying active, traveling, and following motorsports, especially endurance racing and Formula 1.

Leslie recently joined our corporate office in Tampa, FL, as a Specialist - Talent Acquisition and will be supporting recruitment efforts across the organization. With a decade of recruiting experience, Leslie has recruited for roles ranging from general labor to Director-level positions across multiple industries. In her new role, she will lead the recruitment process from intake and candidate sourcing through screening and coordination, helping connect talented candidates with opportunities across QC.

Leslie brings a team-first mindset to her work and says she treats every open position and candidate as her number one priority. Outside of recruiting, she is always up for a conversation about NFL football, cruise vacations, the FSU Seminoles, or anything in between.
