For a long time now, well meaning people have suggested we “fancy up” our labels and packaging. Just the other day the subject was once again brought up.

From a marketing perspective I understand the importance of labels and packaging. I myself am drawn to them, so I get it completely! I have even looked into other options. But those options equal passing costs off to our customers.

But here’s the thing, our goal as a family is to invest in our products! Meaning, what’s inside the package rather than what the outside looks like.

We are committed to nourishing your homes with wholesome, thoughtfully made products!

We do this by putting our money into all organic and natural ingredients because at the end of the day this is what truly matters. We will choose high-quality ingredients over fancy labeling any day!

So until we come across a money tree to “fancy up” our labeling we are keeping it simple and I will continue to print them at home😊.

I’m hoping that’s okay. ❤️

I was asked this question yesterday upon making a delivery. Read on for the answer and a tip to revive your fresh milled bread.

Remember there are no dumb questions and I love trying to answer all questions.

Yes! Baked goods made with our organic fresh milled flour are going to have a shorter “shelf life” compared to something made with store bought flour.

The reason is our fresh milled flour is just that….only flour….nothing added and nothing taken away. There are no added preservatives to keep it fresher longer but remember you’re getting all the nutrients and that amazing flavor!

So what do you do if your bread goes stale? Here is a tip.

Take your bread loaf and get it completely wet by running it under water in your kitchen sink.
Next, place in your 350 degree oven for around 15 minutes.
You will have a completely revived loaf of bread!

Hope this helps!

Hey Jacksonville friends!! Anyone recognize this pooch or willing to give him a good home?
A sweet customer reached out to me about him this morning.
She and her family do not live full time on the area but this guy came up to their home over the weekend.
They leave their place in Jacksonville TOMORROW-he needs a home!

He’s an Anatolian Shepherd. He’s probably about three years old. He was obviously somebody’s pet very docile very well trained walks on a leash answers to commands etc he is so gentle and smart and not aggressive with anything. We’re just trying to find him somewhere to go home before we have to leave Tuesday morning. Rescues will not take him!

Did anyone bake bread for Easter weekend? I decided to try a new no-knead recipe… and honestly, why I chose to experiment while in a hurry is beyond me. 🙄

As you can see from the pictures, it didn’t exactly go as planned. 😀

But here’s the good news—when it’s made with our Organic Fresh Milled Flour, even “ugly” bread still tastes absolutely delicious!

I would love to see your pictures from this weekend!❤️
Happy Monday friends!
