226 Robalo — Full Restoration & Service 🔥

This 226 Robalo came in for much more than just a basic detail. We gave her a full refresh from top to bottom and took care of several repairs along the way.

🔧 Minn Kota Talon removed

Upon inspection, the boat had a Minn Kota Talon that was incorrectly installed. The installation had included fender washers that were thru-bolted in the transom resulting in the gel coat cracking and fiberglass delamination. With no sort of backing support this Talon was about to rip the back of the boat off! After removing the Talon, we repaired the fiberglass and restored the areas that needed attention, including extensive gelcoat repairs to bring the finish back to life.

The end result is a boat that not only looks like new, but is also protected, mechanically serviced, and ready to get back on the water. 🌊🎣

🚨Searchlight installation🚨

Customer wanted to be able to spot channel markers at night to be able to safely navigate. Paying attention to a chartplotter at night to “see if you’re in the middle” is not the best way to travel on the water. Being able to see what is in front of your boat at all times is very important. Your day can have a very bad ending if you’re not prepared. Having the tools to ensure a safer day on the water keeps your mind at peace.

You may say, “I’ll just use my handy spotlight”. Well we all know we either forget to charge it or we have a plug in the dash for it and you finally get on the water then your twisting the plug around in the socket trying to get it to turn on and it just does not work… Not only do you have these said issues, but having to stand at the helm with your hands tied up running a spotlight and getting distracted by trying to hold it at the right angle so you can control your boat is just not the answer.

With having a spotlight you are able to control where you want to see with the simple touch of a button and see in a direct view of what’s in front of your boat.

Upon inspection while installing we found multiple issues with the factory wiring that was causing more intermittent issues with other electronics. When we step foot on your boat we are looking for what can possibly go wrong and fix it before you have to find out for yourself while on the water. Not only are we just showing up to complete one task, we are making sure you are going to have a boat you can trust and try to point you in the right direction.

There are many different options to go about being able to safely navigate in the dark. A spotlight is a great/reliable and affordable tool that we can add to your boat.
