while not our design, this was my first brush with a landing craft, the captain (and trusty 4 legged 1st mate) of this water taxi based in Homer, Alaska took us across the bay and set us on the beach near a trail head for a beautiful hike to a glacier. The versatility of this design sparked an interest and we have now completed designs for two landing craft

The Seatrials of the Wooldridge/Silverback marine supercub, the boat handled well and felt like a much larger boat than it really is. Olympic Marine Designs worked with the builder to develop a build sequence/methodology to reduce the man-hours required in constructing these boats, allowing for welded aluminum boats at riveted boat prices

30ft "Miska" Landing craft back while it was still on the drawing board. Large warm walk-through cabin that extends full breadth, pass through doors, twin 200 hp outboards, self bailing decks, fresh water washdown, solar charging, linear actuator operated bow ramp. Designed with enough space for the clients small excavator, or side by side while safely plying the waters of Alaska's inside passage. Currently under production at Silverback Marine just about ready to move into outfitting.
