Stop picking the destination first, here’s what to do instead.

Most people plan a trip backwards and honestly, that works perfectly most of the time!

They pick a destination first and then try to make their goals fit it.

But we’ve noticed that some of our clients’ most memorable trips started with a different question: Not where do I want to go, but why.

We sent clients to France this month and it started with two things: watching the French Open live & returning to a city where they had the most amazing memories 🇫🇷

From there, the rest of the trip came together beautifully, with stops in Chantilly, Normandy, & Bordeaux.

If there’s one month we’d tell everyone to travel, it’s May 📅

The summer crowds haven’t arrived yet, the weather is hitting its stride, and the destinations on everyone’s list are still actually enjoyable. It’s the sweet spot most people miss because they’re still in planning mode.

Here’s where we’d send you in May and why:

🌆 the city people → Barcelona, Lisbon, Paris, Rome, Amsterdam, London. Cathedral hopping in Barcelona, sunset aperitivo in Rome, the Seine at golden hour in Paris, and Lisbon’s tiny tascas serving the kind of food and wine that makes you cancel your flight home.

If the Amalfi Coast is on your radar this summer, add this to the list 🇮🇹

just opened their beach club, -a new standalone beach club that brings the same iconic style and service of the beloved Positano hotel to the water. It is exactly what you’d expect from one of the most iconic hotels on the coast.

What to know:
🌊 Terraced sunbeds and private cabanas right on the water, with direct boat access to their private jetty.

🏨You don’t have to be staying at Le Sirenuse to go, but hotel guests do get priority booking. The beach club operates separately and is open to outside guests, but reservations are strongly recommended.

🍽️ Book a table at Le Sirenuse Mare Restaurant for fresh, simple Neapolitan classics and long seaside lunches. (Just note: restaurant reservations don’t automatically include beach club access.)

🍹 Three bars for every mood — a retro aperitivo bar, a gelato and granita bar, and Rose’s Bar right on the beach + the first Emporio Sirenuse boutique outside of Positano.

6 years ago, we decided to stop waiting for the right time 🤍

CuratedCoast was born in 2020 — right in the middle of a pandemic that put the entire world on pause. And honestly? That pause is exactly what made it happen.

Starting our own company had always been the plan. But there was always a reason to wait — a client trip coming up, a conference, another event on the calendar. The timing never felt quite right.

Then the world stopped. And for the first time, we had space to actually think. To disconnect, reflect, and get really honest with ourselves about what we wanted to be building — for our careers, for our clients, and for ourselves.

So we took the leap, and CuratedCoast was born!
