Yeah, we built a race boat.
Against all odds—and plenty of chaos, sleepless nights, and busted knuckles—we made it.

Proof that a small shop, determination, and a great team can go a long way.

Huge thanks to everyone who helped, shared advice, and kept us going. This P1 boat wouldn’t be here without you. Now let’s see if we can keep it in one piece.

We’ve spent the last week getting as many boats and butts out on the water for Memorial Day weekend as humanly possible. 

Now we just need the weather to cooperate.

At Odyssey Marine, this isn’t just a business to us — it’s personal.

Whether it’s routine maintenance, diagnostics, rigging, or getting someone back on the water before the weekend, we know every boat has a person and a story behind it.

We started Odyssey because we believed people deserved better communication, honest service, and a shop that genuinely wants to help — not just push boats in and out the door.

We’re boaters too. We get it.

And yeah… sometimes we work on race boats and make questionable decisions in the name of speed too.

Mobile Service Day (s)….

First water test on the P1:

Didn’t sink.
Didn’t catch on fire.
Got pretty close to her 2012 national record speed.

We’ll take that as a win. Lake Murray Poker Run is coming, and our little local shop and the multiple people/companies helping us get there are going to make sure we’ve got a boat or two out there this year.

Kick off National Safe Boating Week with us on Saturday 5/16/26. The Coast Guard Aux will be here from 9am-noonish, preforming Free Vessel Safety Checks.
