Final Before and After featuring the Kitchen!!

Updates we made:
There is now a pantry off to the left versus a bathroom!
We painted the walls white, laid new flooring, and put in brighter lighting.
We installed new countertops and cabinets.
There are new appliances installed, except for the stove which we decided to reuse.
This room has new gas lines for the stove and new plumbing for the sink!
We opened the wall between the dining room and kitchen.

This room was a labor of love for sure! We’re happy to get it wrapped up! 😄

We cut a window into a doorway to lead to the new bathroom space.
We took out half of the wall between the kitchen and dining space to create a more open look.
We put in a new light, painted the walls white, and installed new flooring and trim.

Progress pictures: where it started to where it’s currently at!

We had a couple month delay because we purchased a different property that took priority, but we are looking to wrap this one up pretty quick!

Lots of work left to do, but at this stage, it’ll fly by!

Planning to make this another rental and will share details on that in a month or so! But looking like early May it’ll be ready for a tenant!

It’s amazing what new floor, fresh paint, and new trim can do for a place! It will be getting new HVAC and some blinds installed here in the next week or two still but it’s pretty much ready! A lease was signed today on this property, but we still wanted to share the final before and afters and show how much small updates can really change the look of a place! 🤗

The face of three kids who are happy that mom and dad just bought another house in Salem! 😉

Thanks to Hudspeth for such a quick closing & to our bank for always going along with our crazy ideas!

More to come in the next month or two on a 3 bedroom 1 bath rental that we will have available!
