📸 Selfie Tip Sunday: Try the “Foreground Frame” Shot

Most people take phone pictures straight on. That is why most phone pictures look average.

Try this instead.
✅ Use your rear camera
The back camera usually gives you the sharpest photo.
✅ Turn on your grid lines
This helps you keep the shot straight and place things better in the frame.
✅ Add something close to the lens
Use sunglasses, a coffee cup, car door, plant, jacket, or watch.
Put it near the edge of the camera lens, not in the middle.
✅ Tap your image subject to lock focus
Then lower the brightness slightly.
This keeps the tone clean and prevents the photo from looking washed out.
✅ Use 2x or 3x for portraits
This gives you a cleaner look and makes the background look better.
✅ Use 0.5x for lifestyle shots
Use it when you want more background, outfit, car, restaurant, beach, hotel, or travel scene in the picture.
✅ Shoot from 3 angles
• Waist level, slightly upward
• Shoulder level, turned 45 degrees
• Side angle

The goal is simple.
Create depth.
Keep image subject sharp.
Let the background tell a story.
