The weather this weekend looks absolutely fantastic. Come up and get some fall paddling in (with temps in the 70s) at our Tahoe City location, and check out the Made in Tahoe festival at Palisades. Power boat traffic on the lake has gone way down, and you’ll have the lake to yourself. We’ve also got some great late-season deals on new and used kayaks and Paddleboards in the retail store.

Current Lake Condition. The recent rains have eliminated the smoke, and helped firefighters get the Mosquito Fire under control. The upcoming week’s weather will have low wind and temps in the 70s. Summer kickoff 2022! We are getting set up at our Commons Beach location in Tahoe City, and are ready to rent kayaks. We also have retail kayaks and SUPs in stock at our store from Hobie, Eddyline, Bote, etc. We will be open 10:30 to 5 on Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon until mid May, when we hope to resume our full summer schedule. We are not currently set up at Sand Harbor for rentals.

We will be open from 10-5:30 on Saturday, and 10-4 on Sunday this Halloween weekend. Given the colder temps and precipitation coming next week, this will be our last weekend open for the 2021 season. See you all again in 2022!

If you’re looking to purchase a kayak or paddleboard for a Christmas present, our Tahoe City Kayak retail store will be open on weekends into December.
