The Principal duties of a driver/guard is to operate a company vehicle safely and courteously and to guard and assist the messenger/guard as directed in accordance with company policy and procedures as one learns to perform duties as a messenger. Employees are also responsible for completing daily company related tasks as assigned.
*Personal Communication devices / mobile phones are prohibited while on duty with this Company.
*This Position involves carrying a firearm and employees must possess or be able to attain a personal .40 Cal G***k Model 22 or 23 pistol for use while on duty, following state certifications.
* All potential applicants must be NJ S.O.R.A. Certified, or have at least a Temporary Certificate prior to beginning work.
* Employees must maintain an excellent personal Motor Vehicle record. Personal Driver history reports may be required for review annually. Any person with a poor MV record and/ or more than 4 moving violation points will not be accepted as a candidate for hire.

Environmental/ Health/ Physical:
____ Exposure to elements : extreme hot/ cold/ humid/ wet.
____ Must be able to report for duty during times of severe inclimate weather.
____ Sickness/ attendance : This company expects no less than a 98% (5 days out) attendance rating of its employees in a calendar year.
____ Able to wear protective gear (Bullet resistant vest – provided by the
company), and up to 10 lbs around the waist at all times. Uniforms from the waist up are provided. Black Shoes and Pants are required.
____ Able to meet basic physical demands :
Lifting - Up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs repetitively,
20 lbs constantly
Carrying- Up to 50lbs for distances of up to 50 yards
Pushing/Pulling- up to 1,000lbs (on a cart)
____ have full capacity use of both hands, arms, feet, Running, Walking
Swiftly, Climbing, Kneeling, Crouching, lying on the ground,
reaching/ handling, fi*****ng, talking/ hearing, good vision
(corrected or normal), color vision, good depth perception, good field of
vision. Walking for long period of time,
sitting for long periods of time, standing for long periods of time.
