Our orchard sits atop beautiful Mt. McAlpine affording a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. We offer apple picking beginning in early August and our u pick season typically runs through October. Our fruit stand is open from opening day until the Sunday after Thanksgiving. We also offer freshly made apple cider, hard cider, our famous apple cider doughnuts, preserves and apple butter, hay

Field Trips at Sky Top combine learning with FUN! 🍎 Reserve your 2026 slot now!

We have been leading field trips at Sky Top for over 30 years and since those early days, it has always been one of our CORE goals to teach students where their food comes from and inspire them to respect and care for our environment. 🌎

Our field trips combine a short educational lesson, a hayride to our U-pick area, apples to take home, information about pollinators (check out our observational beehive!), free time at our picnic area and playground and so much more!

As the day winds down, we wanted to take a moment to recognize Earth Day. 🌎 🌱

We’re grateful for this land and the opportunity to grow here. It’s not something we take lightly. Every season teaches us something new—patience, respect, and at times, how much is out of our control. Even so, we believe we have a responsibility to show up for this land and take care of it the best we can.

From the mountains around us to the small things that can be overlooked—the bees, the butterflies, and the soil under our feet—it all plays a part in what we do.

We hope, in our own way, we’re taking care of this place and passing that mindset on. Not just growing fruit, but helping the next generation understand why it matters to care for the land and respect it.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! 🌷🐣 One of the highlights from our weekend was a family orchard walk—checking in on the progress of our blooms and hearing from our dad, the patriarch of Sky Top, about what it takes to grow a successful crop. A sweet reminder of how special this land and fruit are to us, across generations. 🍎💛

Happy 46th Anniversary to the couple who started it all! 1980 was a special year—David and Lindsey were married and welcomed the very first guests to Sky Top. Over the years, they’ve built a business, raised a family, and poured so much care into everything they’ve created. Sky Top is what it is today because of their steady partnership, love and dedication. 🍎

Happy New Year! 🎉🍎

As we kick off 2026, we’re taking a moment to reflect on an incredible 2025 filled with growth, creativity, and lots of farm fun. Here are a few highlights we’re especially proud of:

🌳 Opened a new U-Pick shed for easier access to the orchard
✨ Expanded pathways to improve accessibility throughout the farm
🚜 Added a wheelchair-accessible hayride lift
🍕 Launched Pie in the Sky, featuring hand-tossed pizzas made with our own Sky Top apples
🍦 Debuted the Slushy Shack, featuring the new Cider Slushy Float and ice cream
📖 Published our very own Sky Top cookbook, filled with apple cooking tips, recipes, and photos
🏡 Refreshed our iconic Amish playhouse (built in 2001!), commissioned a bear revamp by a local artist, and updated our annual apple photo-op
🪧 Increased signage to help you explore with ease

And we’re not slowing down… 👀✨ Plans for 2026 are already underway, and we can’t wait to welcome you back for another season of fresh air, farm fun, and great memories! 🍏🌞

🍎✨ As we reflect on another incredible season, we want to send a huge thank-you to everyone who visited the orchard. Our last day on Sunday wrapped up a season full of smiles and sweet memories — from shooting the apple cannon and feeding grass to the bunnies, to enjoying caramel apples, posing by our annual apple or “How Tall This Fall?”, and trying our new cider float or hand-tossed pizza. ❤️

Your support means everything to us, and we’re so grateful for every visit, photo and moment shared here. We’re already looking ahead with excitement and can’t wait to welcome you back in Summer 2026. Big things are on the horizon… stay tuned! 🌳✨

🍎 Last weekend to stock up on your fall favorites until next year!! We’ll be open today and tomorrow (Saturday and Sunday) 9-5 for tasty goodies, hayrides, orchard walks, cannon shots and donuts! 🍏🍩

We have so much to be thankful for this year… Our fantastic team who feel like family, supportive guests who visit year after year, and an incredible harvest! 🦃🍂🍎

We’ll be open this Friday-Sunday 9-5 for our last hurrah of 2025! Donuts will be hot, activities will be bustling and hearts will be warm!

Our sincerest thanks to all who have supported us this year! We hope you have a very happy Thanksgiving!
