🎉🎂 CELEBRATING 10 SWEET YEARS OF BETTE BAKES CAKES 🥹❤️ — PART ONE

Before the custom cakes, weddings, dessert tables and big events… I was just baking cakes. ❤️

My love for baking came from my Granny. Growing up, I watched her bake her famous 7-Up pound cake and pineapple coconut cake.

As I got older, those became the cakes I would bring to parties and family gatherings.

Then one day, I decided to try my hand at a German chocolate cake. I was trying to impress my then father-in-law 😂, and it just happened to be my favorite cake too.

I posted it on Facebook and said, “Maybe I should start selling cakes.”

And that one little thought turned into something I never could’ve imagined.🙏🏾

10 years later… here we are. 🥹🎂❤️

It’s officially pumpkin spice season!!! 🎃🍂🧡

Now y’all know I LOVE me some pumpkin!… but pumpkin pie is where I draw the line. 😂🎃🧡

But this Sweet Potato Pie Cheesecake is about as close as I get to making an actual pumpkin pie 😂 And honestly… she belongs in the fall conversation too! 🍠🥧

Funny story… one of my favorite parts of flying is getting that little pack of Biscoff cookies. 😂✈️ The very first time I ever tasted Biscoff was actually on a flight — one bite and I was HOOKED.

So naturally, the baker AND traveler in me had to come home and turn that little airplane cookie into something dangerous. 😮‍💨😂
