Now Hiring Livestock Hauler!!

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Livestock Hauler to join our agricultural/ truck driving team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for farming and a willingness to learn various aspects of farm operations. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-trip & post trip inspections of equipment
• Operate and drive a semi-truck safely, lawfully, and professionally to transport materials to local and nationwide customers
• Engage in animal husbandry practices, caring for livestock and ensuring their well-being.
• Conduct basic repairs on equipment and machinery as required.
• Maintain proper barn ventilation at all sites
• Monitor overall health of pigs and communicate with Supervisor on what is happening within the facility
• Perform and document weekly maintenance check of vehicle & report any needed repairs
• Interact with customers, vendors, and other employees in a professional manner
• Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisors to receive delivery instructions
• Complete and turn in all required paperwork

Requirements

• Previous experience in farming or agricultural work is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day.
• Familiarity with livestock care is a plus.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to farming practices and equipment operation.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and adapt to changing tasks as needed.
• Sit, stand, walk, and drive for long periods of time.
• Squat/kneel, ben/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced agricultural/industrial environment with proper safety equipment.
