Dream Big Then Execute Enlightened capitalism, commerce and economic development Dream Big Then Execute! That’s an odd statement isn’t it? It almost doesn’t make sense. Powerful.

The words don’t seem to fit. It’s kind of an oxymoron. Dreams are the realm of the child-like or the naïve. Being called a “dreamer” is often a derogatory term – reflecting an idealism that is unchecked by reality, facts or a plan. On the other hand, execute is a strong word. This word suggests that there is focus, intentionality and that things are getting done. But it is this conflicted concept

that is at the heart of what entrepreneurship is. Simply put, entrepreneurs have a dream and they work hard to make it come true. Entrepreneurs dream big, then execute. And this is no trivial matter. Entrepreneurship in its many forms is the key to economic freedom and independence. Despite (or as a result of) its challenges and the chronic underestimation of the work required to succeed, entrepreneurship is democratic nirvana. Entrepreneurship is the singular vocational choice that marries meritocracy with unlimited upside and permits you to pursue your passion or calling to your heart’s content – defining success on your own terms. Entrepreneurship is important. But it’s not easy. And inertia is a stealthy enemy that can prevent us from executing on our dreams. That’s why we’ve formed Dream Big Then Execute.
