Total tonnage on the Seaway reached 20.7 million tonnes through the end of August, an increase of 2.6% compared to the same period last year.

This week, Le Bellot, a luxury expedition cruise ship operated by Ponant Cruises, is making its way through the Seaway. Built in 2020, the vessel is 430 feet long and features 92 cabins. Le Bellot is seen here passing through the Welland Canal.
