Follow a curated section of the Via Apsyrtides , Croatia’s premier long-distance trail winding along the dramatic coastlines of the Kvarner islands. This 8-day journey takes you from the charming fishing village of Veli Lošinj to the ancient hilltop town of Cres, crossing two islands on foot through unspoiled Mediterranean landscapes.

Each day brings new terrain: fragrant pine forests planted by Austrian aristocrats, rugged limestone ridges with panoramic Kvarner views, ancient olive groves, and the clifftop medieval village of Lubenice perched 378 metres above the Adriatic. The hardest day rewards with a summit of Osoršćica at 588 m — the highest point on Lošinj island.

A Letter From Lošinj

The sea has a way of recharging the soul. The nature has a way of healing. This summer was a beautiful reminder to get back to the basics and reconnect with what truly matters most.

Like so many of us, we spend the majority of our lives working, building, planning, and living within our routines. Then we wait for summer—for that one vacation when we can finally disconnect, breathe, and recharge.

And before we know it, summer is over… and we’re already waiting for the next one.

The more we chase, the more we want. And somewhere along the way, our health, our peace, and our mental well-being can take a toll.

Lošinj reminded me that sometimes, we don’t need more.
