The Chester County Department of Transportation has been notified that SEPTA will experience significant service cuts and reductions beginning this month. Updated service area maps reflecting these changes will soon be available in our scheduling software.
Beginning August 24, 2025, SEPTA will eliminate 32 bus routes and reduce trips on all rail services, with further reductions and additional route eliminations planned for January 2026. In Chester County, Routes 92, 104 and 135 will be directly impacted. If you currently ride on an impacted SEPTA Access/CCT run, you may be eligible to travel with
Chesco Connect through our Persons with Disabilities (PwD) Program, available to Chester County residents with disabilities regardless of income. To apply, visit chesco.org/5325/Community-Transit or call 610-344-5545 to request an application.
Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) riders who live along an impacted SEPTA route may be eligible for direct transportation to any covered medical or behavioral health appointment through the Chesco Connect.
