Had a fantastic stay at the InterContinental Miami! The lounge was definitely one of our favorite perks—great breakfast each morning, afternoon tea, and a happy hour that became part of our daily routine. It was the perfect escape from the busy lobby and restaurants.
The location couldn't have been better. Right in downtown Miami with easy access to public transportation and plenty of places nearby to walk the dogs.
The real highlight, though, was the room. We were upgraded to a waterfront suite, and wow... absolutely stunning. Two bathrooms, separate living and sleeping spaces, great amenities, comfortable furniture, and incredible views of both the city and the water. Everything was spotless and well-maintained.
Valet service was super easy, and they even helped me retrieve something I accidentally left in the car. The staff across the board were friendly, but a special shoutout to the valet team who stood out in the Miami heat all day and still greeted everyone with a smile.
We booked this stay using rewards points, and it was 100% worth it.
As for noise, it's downtown Miami, so you'll hear a little city life, but from the 31st floor it was barely noticeable. The lounge on the 29th floor and pool on the 5th floor both had plenty of space to relax without feeling crowded.
Bonus: there's also a dry sauna and steam room near the spa and gym. If you can't find them, just ask—everyone was incredibly helpful.
Would definitely stay here again!
