Here’s a LONG behind-the-scenes video of my trip to South Dakota in late July. Besides dozens of small towns and cities, I show all the hotels I stayed at and restaurants I had meals in. I hung out with friends on day 1, hit some wild weather on day 7, and had a close encounter with bison on day 8. 😎

Today on Wiseguy TOO! I visit an incredible museum in one of the most scenic towns of Colorado. Silverton is on one end of the Million Dollar Highway and is the county seat of the least populated county in the state (San Juan County). The museum is a 2-for-1 that starts off in a large jail. Once you go to the basement it opens up into an amazing mining museum as well as a bunch of local history. Very cool place to visit!

I had a blast exploring the Texas Panhandle and finding these hidden gems. Starting at a famous hotel in Amarillo, I got kicked out of the first ghost town (no kidding). Fortunately things got better as the day went and I got to check off the awesome bucket list community of Mobeetie. I ended up at a rare unincorporated county seat in the extreme northeast corner of the panhandle. They say everything is bigger in Texas, but this video suggests otherwise. Fun day!

Here’s a fun video I did walking through the Main Street of Deadwood, South Dakota. What a historic place! Fortunately they’ve been able to maintain these amazing buildings through some rough and rowdy times. Highly recommended to spend some time here if you’re ever in the Black Hills!
