Join the Water Island Ferry team! We’re hiring for all positions as we prepare for the off-season. If you’re dependable, customer-focused, and enjoy working on the water, we’d love to hear from you.

* All employees get unlimited free ferry passage.
* Reliable and steady employment throughout hurricane season with potential to continue into high season

⚓ Captain

* USCG 25-Ton Master License required
* Enrollment in a USCG-approved drug consortium required
* Part-time, 6-hour shifts
* Monthly schedules with additional fill-in opportunities

🚤 Mate / Ticket Sales >>> POSITION FILLED

* Enrollment in a USCG-approved drug consortium required
* Basic math and cash-handling skills
* Part-time, 6-hour shifts
* Monthly schedules with additional fill-in opportunities

🎟️ Retail & Ticket Sales Clerk >>> POSITION FILLED

* Primarily cruise ship days and weekends
* Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
* Strong organizational and customer service skills required

A big welcome & thank you to Paradise Learning Academy Summer Camp 2026! Their awesome educators and facilitators organized a day trip for approximately 70 Virgin Island Youths today in honor of their Environmental Week. These kids - toddlers to tweens - took to the island with energy and pride as they did a fantastic job with a beach clean up on Honeymoon Beach! To say thank you for their community service the Water Island Ferry was thrilled to donate their ferry passage in full, as well as deliver some much needed Italian Ice Lollies for all the kids after their hard work! It was an absolute joy to witness their joyful energy, exemplary positive attitudes and outstanding manners and respect. Parents and teachers - you are doing a fantastic job molding our youth. Thank you!!!
