A 10 days journey soaking in the culture, local life, and fishing across the Mekong Delta and Con Dao Island (The Final) 🎣🏝️

After successfully conquering some massive barramundi, we headed back to Soc Trang City to catch a 2-hour express boat to Con Dao Island- a pristine paradise known for its breathtaking beaches, rich history, and untouched marine life.
The weather at the end of the year is usually rough for offshore fishing, but lady luck smiled on us again with 3 days of absolutely perfect weather. The moment we arrived at the fishing spot, we ran straight into a massive school of Queenfish (4-10kg) blitzing on baitfish. Without missing a beat, we cast our jigs, and it didn't take long to hook into plenty of action. To our surprise, huge Spanish Mackerel weighing around 8-10kg were brought to the boat one after another!
Those 3 days were filled with non-stop laughter, fish, and happy water 🍺 haha inside our evenings, we feasted on incredible, hyper-local dishes made straight from our daily catch.
All good things must come to an end. 10 days of wandering together across the Mekong Delta, soaking in the culture, meeting the beautiful locals, and fishing. We said our goodbyes, promising to meet again soon to conquer new destinations in Vietnam.
