I’m Van, a born-and-raised Saigonese who spent more than five years studying and working in Canada. Living abroad gave me a better understanding of both Western and Vietnamese cultures, so I know how different—and sometimes confusing—Vietnam can feel for first-time visitors.

If we spend time together, my goal is not just to show you the famous landmarks. I’d love to introduce you to the real Saigon: the local neighborhoods, hidden alleys, everyday routines, and the unique culture that most tourists never get to experience.

Food will definitely be one of the highlights. Saigon is a paradise for food lovers, and I’ll happily take you to the places where locals actually eat—fresh, delicious, authentic, and surprisingly affordable. Trust me, after seeing the prices, you may wonder why tourists pay so much elsewhere!
