BEN TRE - ITS LAND AND ITS PEOPLE

Amidst rows of coconut palms rustling in the wind, live hardworking, gentle folk. Day by day, they cling to the land and the rivers, living in harmony with nature.

In the early morning, boats part the waters heading to the floating market. By noon, coconut shadows stretch long beside mangrove clusters, while children splash and play in the river, muddy with alluvium. As evening falls, groups of people diligently strip coconut leaves, weave baskets, and sun-dry coconut meat - seemingly simple tasks that have sustained generations.

In Ben Tre, smiles are always ready, even though hands are calloused by sun and wind. Here, people are never hurried, only quiet yet steadfast, like the salt-tolerant coconut palm - resilient through storms, sweet and wholesome after long droughts...

Even if you only have 1-2 days to pass through, the deep affection for this homeland lingers, forever making you yearn f this land...
