🇮🇹 June is BY FAR our busiest month this year. It and the first week of July always are!

This time of year is a sprint and a marathon all at the same time.

We’re ECSTATIC to report we finished the month of April with itineraries laid out for clients with travel dates through July and moving well into fall.

We have a number of repeat clients again this year, which is still wild to us considering we haven’t even reached four years since our first clients landed in Italy, August 1, 2022. ❤️

THE BAD NEWS IS…
We continue to get requests for summer travel dates but regrettably cannot take on additional planning for summer 2026.

And, no, sorry but we cannot make exceptions and my personal favorite - - - no, we don’t give advice because you don’t trust a travel agent who is planning for you with having a solid grasp of Italy like we do 🙈

We continue to feel February, May, November and December are some of the most opportune times to visit that are being missed. September and October are no longer shoulder months!

And we’re still open to Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years planning!

We are open to discuss 2027 after the beginning of June.

Costs are going up in Italy, as they are everywhere. We work with all budgets. Keep in mind time, not money, is likely your most limited resource in visiting Italy.

There’s a reason about 25% of our clients are those on their second trip with us. And why prior clients are always asking if we know someone who does it like we do in another country. Our relationships and focused passion in Italy is our secret sauce!

In a post-trip call with a client last week, we were truly inspired with their unique souvenir.

They participated in an experience we love at the quarries of Carrara Marble. Their son picked up a piece of the marble and has busied himself back in America polishing it to spectacular form.

Along the coastline of the northernmost tip of Tuscany, where the sea meets the Apuan Alps is this UNESCO World Heritage Site. You may recognize it as the James Bond 007's “Quantum of Solace” film were shot here. Stanley Tucci opened his show “Tucci in Italy” here as well. Or from many luxury bathrooms and kitchens in our own country.

Michelangelo minded his statue of David from here and the marble exterior of Florence’s duomo (both about
80 miles away), were sourced from the quarries of Carrara. The Vatican’s Pietà was also sculpted from Carrara marble.

One of our favorite pics from clients so far this year! (And this client had so many beautiful ones, which we shared in our stories.)

This is one of the famous wine windows (thank you, Mr. Tucci!) of Florence.

No, you don’t need a tour of everything!!! And here’s an example. Instead, we provide our clients with a navigationally supported listing of all the active wine windows in Florence for that season…some serve gelato instead of vino.

We also build into their itineraries the closest wine window to their dinner reservation, so if they like, they can pop by a wine window for aperitivo prior.

Anyone can schedule a million tours. But the perfect balance of doing and being is more of an art-form and what we strive for so not to miss the true essence of Italian culture.

Our first trip of the season departed for Italy a month ago. We’ve had 7 more there and back since, and the 2026 testimonials are starting to come in. This is our 75th 5-star review posted. And we so appreciate every client who spends the time with us on a post-trip call and/or provides their testimonial.

This family is yet another referral from a favorite client who hired ME - when it was JUST ME - in the first year of Italy As You Imagine. I can’t count how many they’ve since sent OUR way. Thanks, Donna and Angelo!

There are truly times I look back on all I have learned since then - all the relationships in Italy built since - and scratch my head how they found me so worthy to send so many other friends and family after. I don’t know. I just know I’m grateful.

We understandably get this question a lot. But when you dig into the numbers, you trade ⬆️ violent crime 🔫🔪 in 🇺🇸 with a higher petty theft rate 👛 in Italian cities, with Rome and Milan in the top 10, like you see in Orlando 🐭 New York City 🍎 and Vegas ♠️.

HOW COOL IS THIS?!?!

Torn straight from an itinerary of our clients in Italy last week, here is a tradition started by another wonderful client in 2024.

We will be back in this beloved apartment next month for the 5th or 6th 🤔 time and can’t wait to see what clients have left in this special, special book.

We’re gonna get a little personal here - -

There’s not many things that burn my bum in planning in Italy. But here are two.

🙈 One of them is seeing terrible novice advice given on social media travel groups. It’s literally wild what people will state after 0-1 visit to Italy…and wilder those who listen.

💴 Another is the bad advice given on said pages about tipping in Italy. It is different than it is in America, like many things are. Isn’t that why we travel? But it is not nonexistent!!! And it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that it’s certainly not insulting, as some internet myths like to perpetuate.

Here’s the real skinny, which we just released in our expanded client guide.

We had three separate clients sad to leave Firenze/Florence yesterday morning, under the gorgeous weather which one of our drivers captured and sent us in this pic. All three clients are ever so different and each headed in different directions.

#1️⃣ A family of 4 with older teens. All first timers to Italy. Our driver picked them up from their accommodations, which the clients creatively decided to make two days in a hotel and two days in private accommodations. The driver took them on a day trip through the Val d’Orcia of Tuscany, which served also as their transfer to Rome, where they arrived late evening last night. Read in the first comment below how their day went. Spoiler alert - our Val d’orica contacts, who are our friends, rolled out the red carpet for them.

#2️⃣ A multi-generational family of five left their private accommodations in Florence and took a direct highspeed train to Napoli. From there, our trusted driver Davide took them to a tour of the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum, the smaller, lesser known cousin of Pompeii. They had a private tour with our tour guide, who was then organized to be their Pompei guide today, which proved terrific so that the guide could make comparisons between the two sites for the client. See the second comment below with their thoughts on the day.

#3️⃣ Last but not least, four ladies on an Italian girls’ trip celebrating milestone birthdays. All but one have been to Italy before. They left their Firenze hotel with another one of our drivers In Tuscany and took their time getting down to the Val d’Orcia, stopping at hilltop towns, wineries and ultimately arrived last night at the Tuscan resort they will spend the next few days.
