If you are traveling to Rome and Florence over the next several days, just know that Italy is already heading into its first heatwave of the year. ☀️

Forecasts are showing temperatures climbing into the low 90s°F in cities like Florence and Rome this weekend into next week, after a much cooler and rainier May.

Meanwhile, parts of southern Italy may actually feel a little cooler thanks to the Maestrale winds moving through areas like Puglia and Calabria.
