Last of the ROMANS.

MSRTC has decided to convert its fleet that was traditionally built in Aluminum to Mild Steel. This decision has made an impact on overall design and built of the buses in its fleet.

This is one of the last buses built by MSRTC's Central Workshop, Nagpur that was yet to be converted into a Mild Steel body bus.

Via Jam - Warora - Bhadravati - Chandrapur - Ballarpur - Kothari - Aashti - Gondpipari - Alapalli

Total distance 250 kms.

Bhamragad is one of the remotest towns in Maharashtra located in Gadchiroli district. MSRTC lives to its pledge to serve public even at remotest locations by continuing the service to such places.

E Shivai rules everywhere.

MSRTC introduced 12 m Olectra Electric bus. 2 by 2 seating, 45 seater, Air Conditioned, Air Suspension comfortable bus.

At Jam bus stand, there was a flurry E Shivai buses. There were no other buses at that instance of time. Captured this rare moment.

An oldie on local route.

This is converted Semi Luxury Bus with Chandrapur depot. This bus in its original Semi Luxury Avatar must have done prestigious routes like Chandrapur - Nagpur, Aheri - Hydrabad, Aheri - Shirdi.

After the codal life of Semi Luxury got over, this bus was modified to run as a local bus. Rear door added.

This bus was doing Ballarpur - Urjanagar -Ballarpur local route.

Via Visapur - Babupeth - Anchaleshwar Gate - Gandhi Chowk - Jetpura gate - Chandrapur Bus Stand - Tukum

This idea should had been continued at all railway stations. It would had been better to read from the screen than to read from paper list posted on the board.

Again a different depot's bus on a totally different route.

27/07/2012:

This bus was spotted at Ajni sqaure in Nagpur. It started from Nagpur on its usual timings of 05.30 a.m. Due to some technical snag, the passengers were transferred to another bus on the same route.

Aheri depot getting a bus from AWB-2.

Ex Semi Luxury from AWB-2 depot. The seats of original SL were maintained.

This was a transfer from AWB to Aheri.

Now Aheri depot has been transferred to newly formed Gadchiroli Division. In 2012, even Gadchiroli depot was under Chandrapur Division.

MH-40 / N 9745. Earlier with Wardha depot. Now transferred to Tuljapur depot.

It seems the transfer from Wardha is not fully accepted by Tuljapur depot. The original depot kept intact.

It was doing Tuljapur-Kolhapur extra schedule.

MSRTC's Lal Pari in Shivneri Livery.

MSRTC paints its fleet of ordinary buses in Complete Red Color and its premium buses (Volvo, Scannia) under the brand name "Shivneri" in this Royal Blue livery.

Kolhapur division paints some of its ordinary buses too in this Shivneri Livery.

This is Ex Semi Luxury bus.

Ichalkaranji - Kolhapur Non Stop, No Conductor Service.

Ichalkaranji Depot, Kolhapur Division.

The original seats of Semi Luxury are kept intact.

The boards are also special. Its written "vina thamba vina vaahak" (Non-stop without conductor) only on the destination board. No destinations are mentioned.

This is Malvan depot's brand new bus given for School Trip.
