টাকির বিসর্জনের বিশেষত্ব হলো অন্যান্য জায়গায় আমরা রাস্তায় ঠাকুর ভাসানোর কার্নিভাল দেখি। ওখানে ইচ্ছামতী নদীতে ঠাকুর বিসর্জনের কার্নিভাল হয়। ইচ্ছামতীর পাড়ে প্রচুর মানুষ ভীড় জমান এই বিসর্জন দেখতে। ইচ্ছামতীর অপরপ্রান্তে বাংলাদেশের সাতক্ষীরা উপজেলার শ্রীপুর গ্রাম।আগে একসাথে দুই দেশের দশমীর দিন বিসর্জন হতো। আন্তর্জাতিক অস্হিরতার জন্য বর্তমানে তা বন্ধ। কিন্তু তাও টাকীর ভাসান বিখ্যাত।কারন এখানে নৌকায় কার্নিভাল আর সবার আগে এখানে ঠাকুরের বিসর্জন হয়।
