Our story began with an unexpected meeting and was shaped by experience, relationships and a genuine love for travel.
For more than two decades, Johan “Fossie” Foster built his career in the commercial and industrial property sector, earning a reputation for trust, service and getting things done properly. Since 2012, he has successfully run his own business and built many long-standing relationships along the way.
Outside of work, Fossie and his wife, Jennifer, have always shared a passion for exploring Southern Africa. Over the years, their travels through South Africa, Namibia, Angola and the Transkei created countless memories and deepened their appreciation for meaningful travel experiences.
In 2025, a flower tour through the Northern Cape sparked the idea to create similar experiences for others.
Then, in March 2026, an accident temporarily prevented Fossie from driving, and he needed transport support for his day-to-day business. During this time, he met Owen Gorombe, whose story, professionalism and experience made an immediate impression.
What began as a temporary driving arrangement and practical solution quickly became something much bigger. Through daily conversations and shared ideas, Fossie and Owen discovered a common vision: to create a transport business that people could genuinely trust.
And that is how XCape Tours & Shuttles became a reality.
Today, XCape combines reliable transport, local knowledge and personal travel experiences across Cape Town and the Western Cape.
